About Arena

Arena gives every player a fully enclosed stone-walled starting area, a Monastery, and a Mining Camp. Early aggression is nearly impossible, so the first 20 minutes are essentially a quiet boom race into Castle Age. Once Castle Age hits, the meta opens up: Monk-and-Mangonel pushes, unique-unit Castle drops, and big eco civs like Turks, Spanish, and Italians shine. Civs that depend on Feudal aggression (Mongols, Huns) generally underperform here. Arena rewards macro players who can transition smoothly from boom into a clean Imperial timing.
