Haboob is an open desert map with sparse trees and concentrated gold piles. Resource scarcity forces players to commit to map control early or risk falling behind economically. Cavalry civs that can raid effectively and pressure gold piles dominate the meta. Civs reliant on heavy wood economies often struggle here. Expect intense early-Castle Age fights over central resources.
