Hindustanis

The Hindustanis are a diverse cavalry and gunpowder civilization with one of the strongest gold economies in Age of Empires II. Villagers have +5 attack — making villager fights decisively in their favor. Unique tech Grand Trunk Road gives trade units a gold bonus. Ghulam is a unique unit with bonus attack against archer units — one of the best archer counters in the game. Camel Riders are stronger and have an additional upgrade. Imperial Camel Rider, their unique upgrade, creates the most powerful Camel unit in the game. Hindustanis are excellent at countering cavalry-heavy civilizations with their strong Camels, and their Ghulam provides an unusual but effective answer to archer-based strategies.
