Infantry cost 35% less in the Imperial Age, enabling mass production of Huskarls and Halberdiers that can overwhelm opponents through sheer numbers. Barracks work 20% faster, further accelerating unit production. Hunting is 25% more efficient, providing a strong early food advantage. The unique Huskarl unit has exceptional pierce armor, making it nearly immune to arrow fire. Loom is free in the Feudal Age. The Gothic tech tree lacks strong cavalry and siege, making them reliant on a mass infantry flood to win. Best in team games and late Imperial situations where infantry numbers dominate.
