Teutons

The Teutons are a fortress civilization famous for their exceptional defenses and powerful heavy cavalry. Towers and Town Centers have +2 range, making their defensive buildings dominate early game aggression. Teutonic Knights — their unique unit — have the highest armor and attack of any infantry in the game but are painfully slow. Monks have +5 range, making Teuton religious play uniquely powerful. Farms are cheaper and Towers can garrison +5 extra units. In the late game, fully upgraded Teuton Paladins are among the strongest cavalry in the game. Best on closed maps where their defensive bonuses shine, Teutons reward patient players who leverage their superior late-game composition.
