Continental separates players with water, connected by a land bridge. Players can either fight over the narrow land corridor or invest in water control for transport raids. Hybrid civs with strong land and water options dominate. The land bridge creates natural chokepoint battles reminiscent of Black Forest. Expect mixed land-water strategies with decisive Castle Age pushes across the bridge.
