Viking Longboats are cheap, quickly produced warships ideal for water maps. Berserk infantry regenerate health over time, providing exceptional longevity in prolonged battles. Unique technology Chieftains gives infantry bonus damage against cavalry and mounted units, making the Viking infantry line uniquely effective. Their Infantries cost 35% less making mass infantry strategies viable. Vikings excel on water-heavy maps and in games that go to a lengthy boom phase.
