The Lithuanians are one of the strongest cavalry civilizations in Age of Empires II, with their power scaling based on the number of Relics collected. Each Relic captured gives all cavalry (including Knights) +1 attack — up to +4 attack with four Relics, creating the strongest Paladins in the game. Food and Gold are saved on the Knight line upgrades. Unique tech Hill Forts gives Town Centers +3 range. Leitis unique unit ignores armor — making it the ultimate anti-heavy-cavalry unit. Monasteries work faster with more relics. Lithuanians excel on maps where Relic control is feasible, rewarding aggressive Castle Age play that secures Relics and snowballs into an unstoppable late-game cavalry push.
