Kilimanjaro features a large central mountain with players starting around its base. The elevation provides significant defender advantages at the top. Siege civs and ranged civs that can exploit elevation excel. Controlling the high ground provides map vision and combat bonuses. Expect Castle Age pushes up the mountain slopes.
