The Persians are an aggressive cavalry civilization with a devastating early Town Center rush strategy. They start with +50 food and +50 wood, and their Town Centers and Docks work 5% faster per Age — providing a compounding economic advantage. War Elephants are the most powerful melee unit in the game, nearly impossible to kill in direct combat, though their slowness requires strong support. The unique Mahout technology gives War Elephants +30% move speed. Persians excel at Fast Castle strategies into a heavy cavalry or War Elephant composition. Their strong economy makes them excellent for boom strategies, while their unique units give them a powerful late-game identity.
